It has been a year since I severed ties with my former employer and moved to a new company which holds office in the same building. My former big boss seems to have ill feelings on our parting.BB does not acknowledge my presence when we bump into each other– in the lobby, in the elevator, or at their office when I have official business to attend to. The last chance encounter was on Friday where we practically sat inches from each other in a crowded restaurant. I acknowledged BB’s presence, BB did not.
It was unbecoming for someone of BB’s stature. It was unprofessional. Surely, I won’t be as friendly the next time around. I did no wrong. I had no binding contract. Nagpaalam naman ako ng maayos.
Seriously, BB has to stop being bitter. Get over it. Move on.

It is said that most workers quit their employers, and not their jobs. Maybe that's how BB thinks of your resignation, and took offense on it.
Sobrang naapektuhan lang siguro siya sa pagresign mo. Asset ka siguro sa former office niyo and your boss siguro thinks your resignation is a great loss to the company. Otherwise, hindi naman siguro magrereact yun nang ganun.

but it would probably nice to ask him/her to have coffee with you one of these days and ask. sometimes it's better to deal with things like this head-on. that's if you want to. otherwise, let it go. :)
