I don't usually post youtube videos in this blog. In fact, this probably is the first. And what a way to jumpstart my series of youtube gems.
I stumbled upon this video while, again, lurking on an online at work. This is quite amazing. Kseniya Simonova, winner of Ukraine's version of "America's Got Talent", draws on a box of sand Ukraine's WWII history. Her audience is moved to tears. Maybe even you.

Awesome, man.
I thought it was crappy at first. But things got interesting after she drew that lady out of the father and daughter sitting on the bench. It's very cinematic.
Thanks for this.
Amazing' i was moved by this vid...
tsk tsk tears welled in my eyes watching her. my dad and i just watched military monday on national geographic last night and we were moved by the one of the few filmed instances of killings in a concentration camp. then i saw this. she's a great artist. just the way van gogh used to paint outdoors under bad weather conditions -- passionate. i even own WW2 videos so this is particularly moving for me.
