I capped my movie-watching year with the MMFF entry I Love You Goodbye that is an almost terrible movie. This film IS said to be the best of this year’s crop. The 6 others must be really crappy.

Uy naunahan mo ako. I was planning on posting the movies I have seen this year too, the ones from Netflix only as I cannot remember the movies I've seen on cinema (old age).
I like Slumdog and Benjamin Button from your list. You have seen a ton of movies. Did you see all these in the cinema?
No Inglorious Basterds? No UP? Hey are you a fan of Woody Allen? Have you seen Whatever Works? It's actually the best film that I've seen this year, but no one seems raving about it. :(
Got bored at Rachel's Getting Married.
I agree with all of your choices for English films, with the exception of Avatar. Though it was fun to watch it felt otherwise dry, at least for me. No doubt, though, that it will pop up on others' "best of" lists. As for your Pinoy films, unfortunately the only one I've seen is Tirador, which was good, but I haven't seen many other recent Tagalog films lately. I'll use your list as a guideline for which Filipino films I should watch next. They're just a little hard to come by where I live.
this post made me want to watch more Filipino movies in 2010.
I have Slumdog Millionare at my #1 last year. I think I'm going to have The Hurt Locker as my #1 this year as well. But I haven't seen The Road yet so I'm not so sure yet.
WOW! I amazed at how you were able to keep tab of the films you've watched, especially the local ones. I picked up a lot of titles from this post, will find their DVDs. Got a lot of catching up to do :)
photo cache, majority of those on dvd. mamumulubi ako pag sa sinehan. hehe.
gasoline dude, i knew someone would notice the exclusion of inglourious basterds and up. not good enough for a top 20 list. haha.
havent seen whatever works. ma-download nga. :D
wcs minor circuit, most of the local films on my list are not on dvd yet. bummer. where's your best of 2009 list?
engel, subukan mo. huwag yung mainstream and some "indie" films.
skron, the road is one of my all-time favorite books. i hope the film doesn't disappoint.
russ, i list them down for my year-ender post. boy scout si scud. haha.
Occasionally I'll find a good, new Filipino film playing at some indie theater in town (that's how I first discovered Brillante Mendoza). Unfortunately, the last time I looked to see what's new, they were playing "I Love You Goodbye", and I respect myself too much to watch that.
My own list will probably be around this weekend, don't worry. haha
now i know where to go for a real review of what films to watch. i must admit halos wala ako napanood na movies this year. thanks for sharing these.
minor ckt, looking forward to that list. happy new year!
lawstude, busy ka kasi sa paglalakbay. sana more travels for me next year.
that's a lot of films! have you computed all the time you spent staring at the tv? LOL happy new year!
prinsesamusang, oo. mahilig ako sa numero. haha. happy new year!

Ang dami mo palang napanood na movies last year. Maganda nga yung Yanggaw at Tirador. Meron akong kopya ng Ploning pero hindi ko pa napapanood hanggang ngayon; ilang taon na ata akong nagpro-procastinate, haha.
Ano yung You Changed My Life?
andy, bida sina sarah geronimo at john lloyd cruz. nyahaha.
