We missed the 1st 10 minutes, no thanks to the December traffic. But the next 152 minutes of Avatar is the most jaw-dropping, astoundingly awesome cinematic experience I have had in years.James Cameron transports us to the Pandora world he created for over a decade and you see every inch of it on screen. It is breathtaking. For 18 minutes shy of 3 hours, it feels like you really ARE in Pandora.
Forget about the Pocahontas-like plot. Go see this for the visual feast, the CGI, and the 40-minute battle sequence.
And watch this on an IMAX screen (SM MoA and SM North EDSA) which will continue screenings even during the MMFF. Believe me, the 400 pesos you pay is worth every centavo.

Ang mahal na talaga ng sine ngayon.Ö I was supposed to watch it today, but I'm iffy 'bout watching a movie without D. We'll see in the next few days :)

How much is movies there? It's 10 to 10.50 here. We watch during matinee showing, 7.50.
